BBC World Service’s Newsday featured Yan St-Pierre once again in their programme (starting at 00:33 h). The BBC reporter asked him to give his insights on Boko Haram’s funding strategy:
(…) In 2014 it’s (Boko Haram) evolved to the point where it’s taking control of smuggling, trafficking routes, the main ones that go through Nigeria. (…) Nigeria is the transport hub in West Africa for all the trafficking that goes to Europe and South America….
